6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use a small number of third-party tools to understand how people use this website, so that we can improve it. Here is exactly what each one does.
Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. It reports on visitors as a group rather than as named individuals.
Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session activity: the pages you view, where you click and scroll, and how your mouse moves. We use it to find places where the site is confusing or broken. Any text you type into a form is masked, so what you enter is not recorded and is not visible to us. We do not use these recordings to identify individual patients, and we do not combine them with your health information.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools. We use the Meta pixel to measure how well our advertising works and to show relevant ads to people who have visited this website. It records that a browser visited a page on our site. We do not send Meta your name, contact details, medical history or any information you enter into a form, and we do not use it to build audiences based on any health condition. You can control how Meta uses your information in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can limit this tracking through your browser settings or the opt-out controls described above.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use health information for advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit some features of this website. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights over your personal information, including information relating to your health. Those rights are described in section 7 below.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to:
• Access, update, or delete your personal information
• Opt-out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in our emails
• Opt-out of SMS messages by replying "STOP"
• Request information on how we process your data
• Withdraw consent at any time for future communications
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 10.
